Maryland Tech Council CEO Appointed to the Maryland Life Sciences Advisory Board

Martin Rosendale, Life Sciences Industry Leader Focused on Propelling the Region to No. 1 in Life Sciences, Brings Passion and Experience to the State of Maryland

Frederick, Maryland — September 11, 2020 — CEO of Maryland Tech Council Martin Rosendale was recently appointed to the Maryland Life Sciences Advisory Board (LSAB). Rosendale joins 15 other members that were selected by Governor Larry Hogan, along with the two standing members, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Commerce and a representative from the Maryland Technology Development Corporation. The LSAB was created by the Maryland legislature in 2007 to assist in maintaining the State’s preeminence in the life sciences industry. Rosendale will bring his life sciences and industry expertise, as well as his determination to propel Maryland and the region as the premiere location for life sciences.

A five-time CEO and twice company founder, Rosendale’s experience spans public, private and not-for-profit businesses. His career highlights include launching, acquiring, branding and/or commercializing more than 10 products and companies, and now he is leading Maryland Life Sciences (MDLS), a division of the Maryland Tech Council and is focused on supporting and amplifying his members and the life sciences success stories in Maryland.

As a member of the Board, Rosendale will attend two meetings in the fourth quarter and be a part of discussing LSAB initiatives for 2020 and into the future.
