American Gene Technologies (AGT) CEO and Founder Jeff Galvin, who is a member of the MDLS Board and whose company was the conference’s Diamond Sponsor, was next on the agenda. He shared that AGT has finalized its Investigational New Drug (IND) application with intentions to submit it to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Upon receiving clearance from the FDA, AGT plans to begin Phase I clinical testing of its HIV gene therapy.
