Data Center Alliance of Maryland Appoints Steering Committee to Guide Public Engagement
Diverse coalition includes leaders from industry, organized labor, higher education, local government
Committee to focus on public policy and engaging Marylanders on data center industry
Rockville, Maryland (February 2, 2025) – The Data Center Alliance of Maryland, an initiative of the Maryland Tech Council, today announced a diverse set of industry and economic development leaders have joined its steering committee. The committee will guide the alliance’s efforts to improve and align public policy in the state, educate Marylanders on the economic and fiscal contributions of data centers, and answer common questions residents have about data center siting, construction, and operation in their communities.
The Steering Committee members are:

The Data Center Alliance of Maryland was created to responsibly advance a robust data center industry in the state.
