FAQs

Who can submit a nomination?
Anyone can submit a nomination.  The form does require you to indicate your relationship to the nominee (employee, customer, company is client, other).

Can I nominate myself?
Self-nominations are accepted.

How are nominees evaluated?
Nominees are scored based on weighted criteria for each question. Finalists are selected based on these scores, and in the case of a tie, open-ended responses and supporting materials are considered by the executive board.

What fields are required to complete the form?
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. All required fields must be completed to proceed through the form.

Can I save my progress and complete the nomination form later?
Yes, you may save your progress and return to the form later if needed. Be sure to save any changes before exiting.  Only forms that are SUBMITTED will be considered.

Is there a limit to the number of nominations I can submit?
There are no limits to how many nominations you may submit, or how many nominations a particular company or individual may receive.

Can I edit my submission after I have submitted the form?
Once you submit the form, you will be able to edit it through your confirmation email before February 13, 2025. All nominations close February 14, 2025.

What types of supporting materials can I upload?
You can upload up to five pages of supporting documents, such as letters of recommendation, testimonials, or notable achievements.

How will I know if my nominee is selected as a finalist?
Finalists will be notified by email and must confirm their acceptance to proceed as finalists. Announcements will also be posted on the website. Please ensure that all contact information is accurate.

What happens after I am identified as a finalist?
Once you are identified as a finalist, the nominations committee, made up of award sponsors, will contact you to schedule an interview at your convenience. This interview can be conducted either in person or virtually. Please note that all interviews must be completed by April 14, 2025.

Who are the judges for the awards?
The judging panel consists of industry experts and executive board members who review finalists based on set criteria.

What happens in case of a tie?
In the event of a tie, responses to open-ended questions and any uploaded supporting materials will be reviewed by the executive board to make a final decision.

How will the scoring process work?
Each nominee’s responses are scored based on weighted criteria, and scores are calculated automatically on the backend after submission. Nominees will not see their scores.

Does the nominee need to be a MTC member?
No, you do not need to be a MTC member to be nominated, and membership status does not affect your chances of becoming a finalist or winner. Finalists and winners are not required to become members; however, your support through membership would be appreciated and would offer valuable benefits.

Is there a fee to submit a nomination?
There is no fee to submit a nomination.

When is the deadline for nominations?
The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2025.  Late submissions will not be accepted, so please ensure your form is complete and submitted by the deadline.
