Philip Schiff consults on business strategies and operations for organizations seeking to have a social impact. He was CEO of the Maryland Tech Council from 2013-2016, leading the association, which represents Maryland’s life science and technology industry. Prior to that Schiff was head of strategic planning, operations and General Counsel for the American Association of Blood Banks. Schiff has more than 30 years of expertise and proven success in national and local advocacy, financial management, strategic planning, member relations, external relations and legal work. For MTC, he was focused on expanding the association’s membership reach throughout the state, leading policy initiatives designed to foster growth of the technology sectors and advocating for even greater innovation in the region. Schiff earned a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative Sciences from Yale University. He and his wife, Janis, live in Washington, D.C., and have one son.
