Prerequisites
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, having prior familiarity or experience with SAFe® is recommended.
What You’ll Learn
To perform the role of a SAFe® Product Owner or Product Manager, attendees should be able to:
- Perform day-to-day responsibilities of a PO and a PM
- Put the customer at the center of your design, build, and test process
- Prepare for and lead PI Planning
- Decompose Epics to Features and Features to Stories.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to forecast work

Attendees must attend all days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.
Annual Renewal
Certifications expire one year from the date of certification is earned.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
- Attendees may be eligible to apply for PDUs toward continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications
- Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance
